Iowa United FC Academy (9-10u)

Our Iowa United Academy 9-10u program is a great intermediary option between recreation and select soccer that introduces players to a more competitive level of play.

The academy program is designed for the player who loves soccer and seeks a more competitive environment. The program introduces them to trainings and games that will help prepare them for select or competitive soccer. Players will have the opportunity to develop individual skills as well as learn to play within a team atmosphere. The academy program features 50% play time, and mild travel to play games in cities no more than 30-minutes from Urbandale. 

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Two Academy jerseys with numbers (one navy, one white), Shinguards, Soccer Cleats, Soccer Ball, Water Bottle. 

Girls games are scheduled on Saturday mornings 9a-12pmBoys games are scheduled on Sunday afternoons 1-4pm

• Academy Kick-off/Parent Meeting - February 25, 5:30-6:30 pm 
• Week 1 – April 5-6
• Week 2 – April 12-13
• Holiday Weekend (No ISL Games) - April 19-20
• Week 3 - April 26-27
• Week 4 – League America Festival - May 3-4
• Week 5 – May 10-11
• Week 6 – May 17-18
• Holiday Weekend (No ISL Games) - May 24-25
• Week 7 –  May 31-June 1

Home games are played at Upper Walker and away games are played at surrounding Des Moines Metro locations. All games are scheduled by Iowa Soccer
